Windsor Windows & Doors began in 1946, as Windsor Wood Working, Inc., a small locally owned company in Windsor Heights, Iowa with 12-15 employees. Since that time, Windsor's strong Midwest work ethic and pride in craftsmanship have guided us in building a business totally centered on the things that matter most to our customers.

Over the past 60+ years, Windsor has continued to expand and has grown to over 700 employees. Windsor operates its corporate headquarters in West Des Moines, Iowa where it has two large manufacturing facilities totaling 340,000 square feet. Windsor also has a second manufacturing facility in Monroe, North Carolina with 200,000 square feet of production space.
